A bit about psychological treatment with children

Psychological treatment with children involves using psychological strategies to address symptoms that negatively impact your child 's life.

Basically, treatment involves helping reduce psychological symptoms so your child can do the things that are important to them again.

For children under the age of 8, treatment often involves more contact with the parents to help them develop strategies to use at home with the child. Over the age of 8, we often work with parents and the child to find a strategy that works best for you.
