A bit about psychological treatment with adolescents

Psychological treatment involves using psychological strategies to address symptoms that negatively impact your adolescent's life. Simply put, treatment involves helping reduce psychological symptoms so he or she can do the things that help them live the life they want to be living.

Treatment often involves meeting with the parents and adolescent initially, then working together to determine which treatment strategy (e.g., meeting with the adolescent independently, meeting with the adolescent and the parents) works best for you.
