What to expect during your first visit
Prior to your first appointment, you will be asked to complete intake forms as well as symptom measurement questionnaires to help your provider develop a better idea of what your first appointment should include.
The first appointment will involve a conversation with your provider to help them gain an understanding of concerns, diagnosis (if applicable), and to help develop an individualized treatment plan.
Diagnosis (if applicable), treatment recommendations, and the implementation of treatment strategies are usually provided during the second appointment. Sessions afterward involve implementing the treatment plan aimed at addressing the symptoms of concern.
